Thank you to Gord and Noreen Dandy of Welland, Ontario for permission to post the pictures of the C. Beck Lumber Co. dated 1921. Gord's grandfather, George Edwin Harber, is the person standing on the right of the picture.

It is with great sadness, that I must announce the unexpected passing of Peter Stinson on December 3, 2009. Peter was a grandson of Edward and Eva (Fairbairns) Stinson. In January of 2006, he sent me the stories found in the Anedotes section - Childhood Memories of this website. Since that time, he has written several for Mid-North Monitor and published a book "Buffalo Girls, Won't You Come Out Tonight". He had the ability to capture a moment in time so clearly that it made my own memories of growing up in Webbwood come flooding back. My condolences to his family in South Porcupine and in Webbwood.
