Copper Mining at Webbwood The Toris Sulphur and Copper Company, A Scotch Syndicate, which recently purchased from T.W. Trotter in Webbwood, has commenced work upon it. It is their intention to sink two shafts to a depth of each of 150 feet from which they will drift. If the ore showing in them is found satisfactory they will then build and operate a smelter. A.D. Bailey is in charge of the work. |

a lucrative position with Mesrrs. Jones and Chant who have taken over the business formerly
conducted by Stonewall Hawkins. Massey Station: Miss M. Alton and Miss D. Thompson of Webbwood paid Massey a flying visit on Sunday. |
